Does Nightclubbiz.com write business plans for nightclub startups? We do not… Or at least not any longer. In 90% of cases, those asking for business plans are utterly confused as to what their purpose is. Thanks to a number of websites aggressively pushing nightclub business plan services as a lottery ticket to instant funding, many 'wishful thinkers' bought into this at a cost of thousands of dollars. What actually they ended up with is:
Perhaps the biggest killer is when Mr. prospective nightclub operator is questioned about their working knowledge of the business, or so much as a basic grasp of the operation, they stand there like a deer in the lights. They figured this banana-based business plan was their instant ticket to investor confidence and a windfall of cash. Didn't your mommy tell you that nothing is this easy? :) The age-old "false hope in return for profit model" has been around for some time. Please don't fall into this trap people…
Why don't you provide full business plan services? First off… Unlike the subtle fibbing and claims some other sites make, we DO NOT consider ourselves to qualified enough to be writing business plans, which are requesting upwards to several million in funding for one of riskiest and most difficult ventures in the world to pitch to investors.
So who is actually qualified? Preferably an MBA and most notably those who's core focus is business management, entrepreneurship, and strategic/risk Management or... At VERY least, a certifiable working background in the investment arena. If not.. They have absolutely no business taking peoples money for a service they're not qualified to offer. Alternatively, imagine an MBA claiming that he/she is qualified to operate a nightclub? :)
So if Nightclubbiz.com were opening a nightclub, it would not write its own business plan? Nope… Not a chance. We're pure nightclub operations and concept developers --not MBA's. The two fields are not remotely related… We would certainly compose the written concept, but as for structuring the broader level plan into something investors would put an iota of confidence into, we'd be securing the services of a highly qualified business plan service, and thus why… You keep hearing that familiar expression… "Business plans are only as good as the paper they're written on" We're familiar enough with the investment community to understand this.
What business plan services does Nightclubbiz.com provide? We will read through a plan and examine your concept for viability. We will highlight and suggest corrections. We will provide an opinion as to whether your plan has a hoping chance, or… Dead on arrival. We WILL NOT revise, calculate, or in any way become involved with cash flow projections, or any other financials for that matter! Business plan writing services are a whole other arena and there are some highly qualified ones out there.
The executive summary is your friend In many cases and most notably entertainment venture related proposals, the executive summary can be your best friend. It generally consists of five to seven pages, which highlight the essential components of your business offering to a potential funding source. Articulated correctly, you may make it to second base.
What is second base? You may receive a request for a broader scope business plan. To be completely honest, we've seen few nightclubs funded as the direct result of formal business plans. That's not to say that you won't need one. The point here is understanding the time and place for one, and it's NOT on first contact. By the same token, would you propose marriage on a first date?
So what are the correct steps to access nightclub funding? Unless your funding is coming from family, or a close, dear friend… All you need for now is an executive summary. Use the summary to pitch your base concept to your prospective lender base. DO NOT consider a full scope business plan UNLESS you procure interest BEYOND the executive summary presentation. Do it this way and you won't be out thousands of dollars, frustrated, and emotionally distressed.
Does nightclubbiz.com provide executive summary rewrite services? Yes. You need to write the summary in your own words. Nightclubbiz.com will read it over… Discuss it with you… Then refine/ critique it as required.
See this page. It provides everything you need to get started. http://www.inc.com/articles/2000/10/14875.html
How much does an executive summary rewrite cost? $500.00 for a seven-page rewrite.
How much does an executive summary evaluation cost? The fee is $125.00. This fee should be self-explanatory, but in case it's not, here's why. Reading through someone's summary can take an hour or more, depending on its context and structure. Another hour is spent discussing the evaluation with the client, as well as suggested changes. Therefore, offering to evaluate a nightclub executive summary for free would not be reasonable, since it's a several hour investment of our resources.
Just because you've paid the $125.00 fee does not mean we're going to attempt to fish you in for another $500.00. In some cases, the suggested revisions can be made by the client, based on our suggestions. Nightclubbiz.com does not hard sell, or use salesmen tactics in efforts to soak clients for as much money as we possibly can. This model has established us as one of the most reputable sources of nightclub information on the web, while our clients can relax, knowing that all pricing is upfront and that we will not exploit them.
Don't be silly please… You're pursuing funding for one of the riskiest business ventures in the world. No one but maybe… God himself could offer you that sort of assurance. If you want guarantees, you may want to forgo a nightclub, in exchange for a Dunkin Donut's or a nice McDonald's franchise. They're well proven, completely turnkey investments and you won't need to bother with any of this stuff.
