Built
for solid, reliable Internet broadcasting
These
relay servers are best suited for aggressive applications,
such as nightclubs, bars, or pro DJ's where a stable server
and a highly reliable network is essential to ensuring the
broadcast is received in high quality, and WITHOUT interruption
caused by packet loss.
These
servers are for mission critical streaming applications. I've
built them on a dedicated Linux /Unix VPS, using Cent OS.
I've used the Xen platform, as it's rock solid, highly stable,
and does a much better job of resource allocation at the host
node level.
These relay servers are exceptionally stable and will not
crap out in the middle of a broadcast. Load them down to maximum
capacity all you want
You can't break them!!
Our premium network providers further enhance stability of
your broadcast. Whether your listeners are in California,
to distant locations, such as Australia, your audience will
not experience packet loss, such as the case with many Shoutcast
relay providers who use a 'shared hosting' model and the cheapest
bandwidth providers money can buy.
While that may be fine for web page hosting, it IS NOT for
a live music streaming application, and as many DJ's or nightclubs
have discovered the 'embarrassingly' hard way!
Yeah
you know what I'm talking about
. Hey we can't hear your
broadcast, or hey
Your stream is skipping and stuttering
like a damaged CD, and so fourth. Talk about embarrassing,
if not all out humiliating
Not with my relay servers!
